Orbitt welcomes new board advisor to deepen ecosystem innovation

Orbitt, Africa’s first digital deal origination and business development platform, has announced the appointment of Chris Coleridge as a board advisor.

As a Senior Faculty in Management Practice at Cambridge Judge Business School, Chris will help implement best in class ecosystem strategies to boost Orbitt’s platform growth.

Chris adds an important layer of support to Orbitt’s management team, having been involved in the design and launch of the platform’s service matching capabilities. The continent’s first financial services marketplace enables African companies to connect with top-tier advisors and financial services before, during and after they raise capital.

“To accurately map and capture the key inter-dependencies between stakeholders in Africa’s trade and investment ecosystem – whether investors, companies or intermediaries – is an exciting challenge” says Chris. “I look forward to working with the Orbitt team to deliver an offering and product that can digitise business development across the continent.”

A former entrepreneur, for 13 years he has been teaching and carrying out advisory work in entrepreneurship and strategy, inside and outside academia.

“We have no doubt that he will be a great addition to the board,” adds Lanre Oloniniyi, Co-Founder of Orbitt. “Chris has won multiple awards for his teaching, sits on start-up advisory boards and advises a wide spectrum of corporates on how to partner within an ecosystem strategy. Although we have known Chris since my co-founder, Will, and I attended business school, we’re excited to bring him onboard as we grow out the team in a number of areas.”
